What a weekend it's been, full of highs and lows that kept us on the edge of our seats!
Luna Dos Santos: 6th Bambino.
Luna being the smallest and youngest racer on the day she didn’t stand down for anything. She definitely takes 1st place on everyone's eyes due to her just loving to drive and her loving personality. We even got a wave back mid race while she is racing. That's pure cuteness. Definitely a lady to keep a eye on as she grows older and more experienced.
Gury Dos Santos: 2nd Bambino
Gury was firing on all cylinders this weekend. We unfortunately couldn’t get the pure out right pace that Russel could get. Some back marker issues effected his race 3 results but other than that quite uneventful. Definitely improvements to be made till the next race weekend. We learn and we progress but we are all super proud especially on the consistency in his pace with no mistakes from him.
Nic Kruger: 1st micro max.
Showing amazing pace throughout practice he was set. Only getting 3rd in quli was a bummer. He put his head down with amazing push laps in all races with race craft suspected from a more session driver.Race 1 saw crqzy battle for 2nd with passing opertunity just not arising. He snatched his first race win ever in race 2 by just having some amazing consistency and pace keeping the gap to the chasing pack. Race 3 was a battle for the ages with the team aching him on throughout. With a amazing pass for the lead he put his head down and took another win and top honers for the day.
Nicolais Mostert : 8th Mini max.
Where to start. The amount of seat time he has put in ,in the last two weeks was just incredible. New package definitely helped on to focus on driving and not spannering a kart the whole time. On pace he was definitely not that far of from all his seasoned competitors. Unfortunately racing gives you knocks. Race 1 saw him getting involved in a pileup in turn 1 ending his race with a DNF. Race 2 again same story. This time the kart only sustained tie rod failure. Race 3 we finally could pull through a finish. With Nicolas being in the tightest field of the day no inch given he definitely learned a lot. Now we put in the training and effort to
Ezequiel Dos Santos: 3rd DD2
Gosh what a weekend to forget. Electrical gremlin's from practice till the last race. Other than that we struggled a bit with grip but when the new tires where on we where right there. Ezequiel pushed hard and got a 3rd in race 1. Unfortunately a incident in race 2 caused a ground connection to come loose. With him limping into the pits. Race 3 we went strong until race 2 damage came back. Definitely practice is in order to get our ducks in a row but we will be back stronger.
Overall, it's been a weekend of learning, growth, and unforgettable moments on the track. A huge thank you to all our supporters and team members for their unwavering dedication and support. Here's to more thrilling races ahead! #NamibianRacing #NationalLeg3 #RacingPassion
